Linda Taylor -Chairman
Linda established the business, initially as a sole trader, in 1987 following an early career in executive secretarial positions, computer training and invaluable experience of ‘the life of a temp’ in the 1970s.
Extensive experience in diverse areas of Recruitment within the public and private sectors; with wide knowledge of IT and Office Training (both commercial and Government sponsored). Linda now specialises in Marketing, Business Development and New Business initiatives.
Kate Taylor Shaw – Managing Director
Kate has 22 years recruitment experience, joining Linda when the first high street branch opened in 1993.
A specialist in account retention, sales and management, Kate is a major influence in the successful relationships built over the years with both customers and candidates. Responsible now for the development and strategic direction of the business .
Ian Hogg- Director
Ian joined the Company in 2004 as Finance Director.
Distinguished career, on the Board of several successful businesses, predominantly within the IT industry; Ian’s knowledge and direction has been instrumental in the company’s success.
Anne Blackburn – Account Manager
Anne joined the business in 1998.
Anne’s knowledge of the temporary and permanent recruitment market has ensured our position as the first choice recruiter in the locality. Her enhanced IT Skills and experience in Local Government and the Private Sector augments the trust that people have in our recruitment expertise.
Helen Thorpe – Accounts Administrator
Helen joined the team in 2019 as Accounts Administrator.
In a very close knit and longstanding team such as ours, it’s not always easy to find someone that ticks every box. The necessary mix of skills & experience, plus those intangible personal skills that make a team.
Helen has it all; she understands our need to always be transparent, our caring and down to earth approach to candidates and clients and much more. She brings her own brand of efficiency and industriousness and has very quickly become an integral member of the team ensuring our accounts function runs smoothly and professionally.
