This week has been on of big changes at Linda Taylors, we sad a very sad goodbye to Jan Roche, our Accounts Administrator who has decided to retire after a whopping 17 years service at Linda Taylors Ltd (and 45 year friendship with Linda herself). Jan has been the first point of call for all clients and candidates for anything Accounts related and will be sorely missed, her knowledge and problem solving skills will be hard to replace……..which leads me to introduce Jan’s replacement:
Introducing Colette Pirie
Colette joined us back in June and has been in intensive training with Jan who has now passed the reigns over to Colette and we would like to welcome her into the Linda Taylors Ltd family. Colette has a wealth of experience that she brings to the role and has fit in perfectly with the existing team and is now available for any queries that clients and candidates may have. Here are a few words from Colette herself:
I officially started working at Linda Taylors on the 11th June and have worked alongside Jan until her last working day on Tuesday. Therefore, whilst I don’t have the years’ experience as Jan in this field, I have gained from a good, lengthy hand over and so many of your names are already familiar with myself as I have ran payroll and holidays these past weeks.
A little bit about me:
I have worked in administration for 14 years and HR for 3 years. Due to recently moving to Manchester and requiring part time working hours, I was lucky enough to join the team at Linda Taylors and I am more than delighted with my new position here. I have been made to feel so very welcome by everyone. I can see how important each person is to the Company and I would like to assure you that I hold the same values and principles, which is the backbone of Linda Taylors and of everything that they stand for.
I am very excited to start my new journey here and I look forward to a mutual working relationship with you all.
My normal working hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays 1300 – 1700, I will have limited access to emails when I am not in the office but I can always pass anything of an urgent nature on to a colleague if required.
I am here to help and assist you in any way that I can and whilst I may require a little ‘bedding’ in time, I am more than sure I will be up to speed very soon.
So its business as usual at Linda Taylors and we look forward to working with Colette for years to come.
