About this role

Based in Salford (M6), our client is a long established and well respected local business.  They have an opportunity for an experienced Accounts ‘all-rounder’ to join their friendly team on a temp to perm basis, undertaking the following duties:-

  • Producing customer invoices and handling any customer queries
  • Updating the Sage Accounts software with payments, delivery notes etc
  • Processing a small company payroll along with associated duties
  • Handling the Sales and Purchase ledger activities
  • Dealing with suppliers in a proactive and professional manner
  • All general accounts duties you would expect in a small business, supporting monthly and quarterly tasks such as VAT returns and issuing customer statements

Candidates should have:-

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good IT skills relevant to the post, Sage experience is an advantage
  • The skills you would expect in a small business, willingness to be involved with the smooth running of the accounts function, good eye for detail, accuracy and efficiency
  • Good organisational skills and team working ethos essential, whilst enjoying a certain amount of autonomy
