Credit Controller (Walkden area)

About this role
Our client, based in the Walkden area, has an opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy team. An established company currently experiencing growth due to local contracts, this represents a rare opportunity to work locally but earn a salary commensurate with working in the City.
Candidates must have a strong background in a busy accounts environment and preference will be given to applicants with experience Sage Line 200.
Candidates should possess:-
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- A professional telephone manner
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Good IT skills, confident with Outlook as a communication tool
- Sound organisational skills are essential
Reporting to the Accounts Manager and working in a small team of 4 people in a busy office, applicants should be able to demonstrate a mature and motivated approach to getting the job done. Candidates should be able to show their competence in the preparation of weekly reports to the finance director and a good understanding of the need to build relationships with customers.
