About this role
Our client, based in Worsley, has an outstanding opportunity for a proficient Credit Controller with strong all round finance experience to join their team of professionals. Experienced Finance Assistants with a proven background and an industrious approach to home working will receive a salary commensurate with experience. This is an opportunity which doesn’t present often, to be part of a strong team, office working maybe once a week, but working from home to get the job done mostly.
Duties:-
- Credit Control – contacting existing customers by telephone and email
- Monitoring customer payments and posting onto the inhouse system
- Liaising with suppliers and posting invoices to Sage 200c
- Preparing supplier payment & customer refund payment files
- Bank reconciliations
- Taking card payments from customers
- Dealing with incoming queries from both customers & suppliers
Experience & Skills:-
- Good IT skills, in particular Sage 200c and MS Office applications
- A team player with strong written and verbal communication skills
- A confident and professional telephone manner essential
- A good understanding of VAT legislation and Nominal Ledger codes
- Educated to GCSE level and with a minimum of 2 years experience in similar role
