About this role
Our client, based in the Worsley area, has an interesting opportunity for an experienced Human Resource assistant to join a team of professionals with a varied client base. The role will be performed remotely from home, with occasional office working, possibly one day per week. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a forward thinking, well respected professional organisation in a pivotal role.
Key Responsibilities:-
- A confident HR professional as the first point of contact for all human resource queries
- Ability to provide sound advice in line with HR policies and legislation
- Plan and deliver induction programmes for all new employees
- Support the learning and development needs of the company and its employees
- Ensure all employee records are accurately and continuously kept up to date
- Support performance reviews and analyse and provide reports on HR data
- Collaborate with and support line managers in the recruitment of new employees, including producing job descriptions & job adverts; screening, interviewing & pre employment checks
Qualifications & Experience:-
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar, busy HR Role
- Level 3 CIPD Qualified is desirable; GCSE in Maths and English (Grade A-C)
- A good understanding of current HR processes and employment law
- Strong customer service ethic and confidence to manage own workload
- Previous learning and development experience
- Strong IT Skills, MS Office systems, particularly Excel and HRIS experience
