About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, creative, and organised Marketing Co-ordinator to take the lead on all marketing and communication activities across  our client’s organisation. This is a fantastic part-time opportunity to join a well-established and respected organisation with a strong community focus.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the brand presence, managing digital and offline campaigns, supporting fundraising communications, and ensuring consistent, engaging messaging across all platforms.


Key Responsibilities

Brand & Marketing

  • Maintain and apply consistent brand guidelines

  • Coordinate digital marketing with external partners

  • Create engaging content (newsletters, social media, videos, print)

  • Monitor performance of marketing channels and campaigns

  • Manage and update social media and website content

  • Maintain marketing databases in line with GDPR compliance

  • Produce branded marketing materials for events and promotions

  • Support key events and content calendar management

  • Produce regular reports to track progress and ROI

Public Relations

  • Liaise with external PR agents to optimise media exposure

  • Ensure communications are relevant, informative, and aligned with strategic goals

Grants & Fundraising

  • Provide marketing materials to support grant applications and demonstrate impact

Communication

  • Produce monthly reports for the senior team and board

  • Develop creative methods to engage families and stakeholders

  • Support effective staff communications and internal messaging


Person Specification

Essential

  • Educated to Degree Level (preferable)
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths

  • Experience in a marketing or communications role

  • Strong digital marketing and social media skills

  • Excellent copywriting and content creation skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Strong organisation, creativity, and attention to detail

  • Collaborative team player

Desirable

  • Marketing or Digital Marketing qualification

  • Experience in charity, care, or similar environment

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, WordPress, Google Analytics

  • Basic design or video editing skills

  • Experience working with volunteers
