Our client, based in Salford are looking to recruit a Brand and Marketing Manager to cover a 9 month fixed term contract to cover a maternity absence.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with an enviable reputation to assist with their Marketing function.

The Role:

The main duties of this Marketing Manager role will include:

  • Maintain all aspects of company’s brand image and implement brand guidelines
  • Responsible for co-ordinating all sales activities
  • Ensure the CSA Team manage enquiries, maintain a contacts database, respond to sales enquiries etc. in a timely fashion
  • Actively generate leads and generate new market opportunities
  • Maintain a contacts database
  • Work with different departments collaboratively with the goal of converting the enquiries received through reception
  • Working with the organisations external Specialists to co-ordinate all digital marketing activity to generate sales and promote a positive image of potential service beneficiaries
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of different company channels
  • Working with the Board of Trustees & SMT to develop a fund-raising strategy for BH
  • Execute the fundraising plan
  • Maintain company’s social platforms up to date, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram etc, in accordance to wider commercial goals
  • Maintain marketing database, in accordance to GDPR guidelines, and ensuring best practice/company policies are being followed
  • Ensure a positive customer journey across all stages of the enquirer journey
  • Produce creative, eye-catchy and on brand printed marketing materials
  • Co-ordinate marketing for key events
  • Maintain company’s website, social media calendar and content calendar
  • Complete regular reports to demonstrate progress, timescales and return on investment
  • Produce monthly reports for board of trustees
  • Be responsible for the co-ordination & production of the Annual Report
  • Communicating with senior management about existing and new marketing activities and events. Produce reports as required.
  • Support the SMT in delivering effective Staff Communications
  • Ensure the Customers Service Team Manage enquiries, maintain a contacts database,respond to sales enquiries etc in accordance with the organisations polices & processes
  • Ensure the customer service team provide effective & efficient administrative support to the organisation within agreed parameters.

The Person:

The successful candidate for this Marketing Manager role will possess:

  • Previous experience in a marketing/communications role
  • Experiencing in managing social media marketing campaigns and fundraising campaigns
  • Building relationships in the local community
  • Experience of developing and implementing marketing strategies to generate sales
  • Experience of working with a range of stakeholders and securing buy in
  • Experience of managing a small team
  • Enterprising and creative
  • High standard of written and spoken English.
  • Strong digital marketing skills
  • Strong copy writing skills
  • Experience of working in aa team to plan and market campaigns
  • Experience of planning and monitoring all internal and external communications
  • Budget Management
  • Proficient user of Microsoft -specifically Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Ability to manipulate datasets
  • Excellent organisational skills with an ability to prioritise workload
  • Good presentation skills
  • Have well-developed interpersonal skills, working well independently or as part of a team and collaborating well with colleagues
  • Be consistent and accurate and have an eye for detail
  • Self-motivated, flexible & enthusiastic
  • Able to take the initiative and take a creative problem-solving approach
  • Personal resilience and the capacity to work effectively and stay calm under pressure
  • Smart and personable character

In return, this role is offered on a full time basis for a fixed term contract of 9 months, there will be an initial period of temporary contract for 12 weeks at which point the successful candidate will transfer to the company payroll for the remaining period of the contract.

Salary:  c£30,000 per annum
