About this role
Our client a manufacturer of electrical components are seeking a Order Input Administrator based in Salford Quays. This position is being offered on a temporary to permanent basis with realistic career progression with the company. This is a great opportunity to join a global company in their prestigious offices.
Working within the Order Input team, the duties of this role will include:
- Placing new orders on the system
- Checking and releasing orders placed by other colleagues
- Answering incoming telephone calls
- Liaising closely with customers and answering queries
- Ensuring all orders are input accurately
- Fielding calls for other staff members
- All associated administration duties
The successful candidate for this Order Input Administrator role will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Accurate keyboard skills
- A keen eye for detail
- Able to ensure accuracy
- Experience of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Attention to detail is imperative
- Be enthusiastic and proactive
- Excellent communication skills and enjoy dealing with customers
- Able to work as part of a team and own initiative
Hours of work are 8.00am – 5.00pm with an hour for lunch
Permanent salary: £20,000 – £25,000 per annum dependent on experience after qualifying temporary period.
