About this role

Our client, part of a large group are looking to recruit a Payroll & HR Coordinator based in Trafford Park.  Reporting to the HR Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to join a large group of companies.

The duties of the varied Payroll & HR Coordinator position will include:

  • Managing and running multiple end to end payrolls for approximately 250 employees
  • Dealing with any payroll queries and liaising with the HR Manager as required
  • Entering, updating and removing members from the Auto- Enrollment pension system
  • Ensuring all employee information is correct on the payroll system, making any changes immediately
  • Preparing contracts and employment packs
  • Producing all pay change letters
  • Processing leavers including producing acknowledgement letters
  • Maintaining HR documentation and updating the company intranet
  • Producing agendas for meetings and minuting as required
  • Dealing with any HR queries
  • Supporting the recruitment functions
  • Tracking applications on the Applicant Tracking System
  • Coordinating inductions and arranging any hotel and meal requirements
  • Providing support with training supervisors and managers
  • All associated administration duties as required

The successful applicant for this Payroll & HR Coordinator position will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience of working on multiple payrolls
  • Knowledge of all payroll legislation
  • Experience of managing pension auto enrollments and administration
  • Good understanding of PAYE Tax and NI with experience dealing with the HMRC
  • Precious payroll software experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Be flexible and willing to learn
  • Have good IT skills
  • Strong administration skills and relevant experience
  • CIPD qualified would be desirable but not essential
  • Experience of working in a similar HR team environment would be advantageous
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
