About this role

Our client, a prestigious market leader in their field are looking to recruit a Sales Coordinator to join their team in Irlam on a 12 month FTC starting in January 2022.  This main purpose of this role is to provide a key service between customers and other internal departments within the company to ensure a smooth order process for customers and is an exciting opportunity to join a successful business.

The main duties of this varied Sales Coordinator role will include:

  • Providing the first point of contact for all customers for order processing and dealing with enquiries
  • Liaising with customers, manufacturing plants and warehouses to ensure delivery is as and when required
  • Ensuring the highest levels of customer service are met and exceeded at all times
  • Providing administrative support to the sales team
  • Liaising with Credit Control to keep customer accounts up to date
  • Developing business relationships with both new and existing customers by telephone and email
  • All associated general administration duties

The successful candidate for this Sales Coordinator role will possess:

  • IT skills with a knowledge of MS Office products
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing
  • Be organised, hardworking and conscientious
  • Be able to demonstrate strong team working skills within a busy customer orientated sales office
  • Be confident in supporting both customers and external sales team
  • Knowledge of construction industry products would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
