School Receptionist – Maternity Cover

About this role

Our client is a School based in the Salford 5 area and they have asked for our help; they are seeking a Receptionist to cover for maternity leave.  The cover is from October this year and the assignment will last until approximately July 2025.

A start of mid-September is envisaged, allowing for a handover with the current jobholder.  Candidates are invited to apply in line with the following requirements:-

  • Previous experience in a busy reception area
  • The ability to handle any issues relating to students, staff and parents
  • A confident and professional telephone manner
  • Good all-round MS Office skills
  • A team player with strong administrative and time management skills
  • Previous school administration experience is desirable but not essential
  • A current DBS is required, but can be obtained in good time

The hours are 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday with half an hour unpaid lunch break.

Salary: circa £12 per hour
