We are looking for an organised and empathetic Welfare Benefits Administrator to join a busy and impactful team supporting individuals affected by serious injury or illness. Based in Salford, this is a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful work that helps vulnerable clients access the financial support they are entitled to.
About the Role:
You’ll provide essential administrative support to the Welfare Benefits Team, helping process new enquiries, maintain accurate records, liaise with clients and organisations like the DWP and Tribunal Service, and ensure smooth case management from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
The main duties for this Welfare Benefits Administrator will include:

Triaging and logging new enquiries

General admin including invoicing, database updates, and document management

Communicating sensitively with clients and representatives
-
Supporting case progression and completed case processing

Handling incoming queries and post
-
Assisting other teams when needed
What We’re Looking For:
The successful candidate for this Welfare Benefits Administrator will possess:

At least 1 year of office administration experience

Strong communication and organisational skills
-
A genuine interest in supporting vulnerable clients

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online systems
-
Team player with a positive, flexible attitude
-
Experience or knowledge of welfare benefits is desirable
