About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation based in Swinton for a Data Processor to join their team.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a structured, process-driven environment and has strong attention to detail.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the accurate processing and preparation of data, supporting internal teams and client reporting requirements.  This position would suit someone with good Excel skills, a methodical approach, and the ability to work to deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Data Processing & Management

  • Process incoming datasets using established Excel templates and macros
  • Prepare, clean and format data for reporting and dashboards
  • Run predefined macros and follow documented workflows
  • Upload, organise and maintain datasets within internal systems

Quality Assurance

  • Check data outputs for accuracy and completeness
  • Identify anomalies or inconsistencies and escalate where required
  • Maintain high standards of data integrity and consistency

Reporting Support

  • Produce scheduled reports and data outputs
  • Ensure deliverables are completed within agreed deadlines
  • Support analysts by preparing datasets for further analysis

Process Compliance

  • Follow documented procedures for all data processing activities
  • Maintain clear records of work completed
  • Contribute to process improvements by highlighting inefficiencies

Skills & Experience

  • Intermediate Excel skills including:
    • Formulas
    • Data sorting and filtering
    • Basic data validation
    • Ability to run macros created by others
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Logical and methodical approach to tasks
  • Ability to follow structured processes
  • Comfortable working with time-sensitive deadlines
