We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation based in Eccles for an experienced HR Associate to join their busy HR & Payroll team.  This is a varied and hands-on role, supporting multiple business units and working closely with the HR Business Partner to deliver a high-quality people service across the organisation.

The Role

As HR Associate, you will play a key role in supporting a wide range of HR activities, taking ownership of tasks and assisting with ongoing HR initiatives.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting HR Business Partner(s) across a broad range of HR activities
  • Assisting with employee relations and general HR queries
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Coordinating learning and development activities
  • Supporting performance and probation management processes
  • Managing HR administration and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting HR systems and HRIS administration
  • Managing shared HR inbox and responding to queries
  • Supporting payroll administration processes
  • Coordinating employee engagement initiatives and company communications
  • Assisting with company awards, recognition schemes and long service awards
  • Supporting fleet administration and other business initiatives
  • Collating HR data and producing reports and analysis
  • Supporting compliance and HR-related documentation

About You

  • Previous experience in a varied HR or administrative role
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to analyse data
  • Proactive and able to work independently
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities
  • Experience using HR systems (desirable)
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
