Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and growing business based in Swinton.  This friendly, family-run company has built an excellent reputation over many years and is now looking for a confident and organised individual to support its sales and administration function.

This is a varied role combining appointment setting, customer relationship management, and sales administration duties. Flexible working hours are available, making this position ideal for someone seeking school hours or a better work-life balance.

The Role

Working closely with senior management, you will play a key role in supporting business development activity and maintaining strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing enquiries, coordinating appointments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the smooth running of the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contacting existing and prospective clients to identify new business opportunities
  • Booking and coordinating appointments for senior management
  • Managing and updating CRM systems, spreadsheets, and customer records
  • Supporting sales administration, including quotations and follow-ups
  • Responding to inbound calls and email enquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Building and maintaining positive client relationships
  • Assisting with general office administration and communication tasks
  • Supporting the wider sales pipeline through consistent customer contact and follow-up activity

About You

  • Previous experience in telesales, appointment setting, sales support, administration, or customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident telephone manner
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and CRM systems
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional in manner
