About the Role

Our client, a well-established and growing business based in Haydock, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Support Administrator to join their friendly team.

In this role, you’ll provide vital administrative and coordination support to the Customer Support and Engineering Managers — helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, excellent client service, and efficient scheduling across the department.


Key Responsibilities

The main duties of this Customer Support Administrator role will include:

  • Coordinate service and small works appointments

  • Maintain accurate records and client databases

  • Prepare reports, quotations, and related documentation

  • Arrange engineer site visits and travel logistics

  • Manage stock levels and place equipment orders

  • Raise and track purchase orders, including returns

  • Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing and delivery

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NSI, BAFE, ISO)

  • Support invoicing processes and resolve related queries

  • Provide guidance to junior admin staff and assist with training where required


About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised with strong administrative and IT skills (email, spreadsheets, databases)

  • An excellent communicator with a customer-focused approach

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently

  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and discreet

  • Adaptable, proactive, and solution-focused

  • Experienced with compliance or quality systems (ISO9001:2015) — desirable but not essential
